  "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha" is a popular Bollywood film that was released in 2001. It starred Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel in the lead roles and was directed by Anil Sharma. Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar's movie Gold's teaser has out. Before this, we had seen Akshay Kumar is a various avatar, but in this movie, Akshay played the Bangali hokey coach-player. Akshay's PadMan release is around the corner and before the releasing actor revealed his another film 'Gold'.

In the teaser, Akshay speaking in the 
Bangali language and he plays the character of a hockey player who wants to win the gold medal for his country (India) not for British India. 1946 when intends to change the course of history by presenting India as an independent hockey player nation on the world map.

In the 'Gold' teaser Akshay Kumar's character is patriotic who wants to do something for the nation but he couldn't do because of the Birthish India government, also we can see the television actress Mouni Roy's glimpse in the teaser. Gold is Mouni's Bollywood debut film. Talaash director Reema Kagti has directed the film. The film explores what it meant to be a patriotic player in the pre-independence era

Earlier it was reported that Gold is a biopic on former hockey player Balbir Singh Sr., but producer Ritesh Sidhwani denied it being a biopic. He said, “It is not a biopic. It is a completely fictional story but it is set against a real backdrop between 1933-48 India about what the country was, the sports... About hockey. It is not based on any character.”

This film is Akshay Kumar's second big film of the year after PadMan. It will be interesting to see what and how Akshy's Gold gives to the audience on August 15, 2018.
